Tasmania on show at top trade exhibition
For the first time in many years, Tasmania will be showcased at one of the premier trade exhibitions for the food-service, hospitality and retail industries – Fine Food Australia.
We are pleased to announce that the State Government has provided additional funding for Brand Tasmania to manage a “Tasmania” stand at the trade show in Melbourne this September.
A strong contingent of food producers will exhibit under Tasmania’s banner at this popular event, including Forager Foods, Ashgrove Dairy, Tasfoods, King Island Prime Meats, Tasmania's Westhaven, Island Berries Tasmania, Valhalla, Kooee Snacks and Australian Honey Products.
Brand Tasmania took over the management of the stand after the planning process had commenced, and unfortunately it has not been possible to accommodate as many businesses as desired with just 36m2 of space secured.
Meantime, if any Partner is interested in the 2019 trade show could you please contact us now.
While it is not known at this stage if Brand Tasmania will manage a stand in 2019, we will again be encouraging the Government to support the event based on business interest. Please email Angela Cranwell if you are interested in attending next year’s Fine Food Australia in Sydney.
Additionally, if any Partner wishes to upskill staff on investigating and developing new markets and preparing for exhibitions, you may be interested in workshops being developed by the Department of State Growth.
