Syrah set to stun

Steve Lubiana’s Tasmanian wines have taken the global stage by storm. His exquisite pinots have thrice been named the world’s best biodynamic wines. Now, with the release of the 2017 Syrah Biodynamic, Lubiana vineyard, just north of Hobart, has introduced a new Tasmanian wine to its impressive list. Syrah is a version of shiraz, but is lighter and leaner than current offerings, and in the words of Steve: “It displays flavours of ripe plum and dark chocolate on the nose, which are followed by hints of white pepper and red currants on the palate.” Biodynamic wines are often described as ‘organic plus’, meaning this new Syrah not only tastes good, but it is good for the planet too!
